Paved area in the middle of A, B, C, & D Block in County School. Where 2nd years cowered having left the relative safety of the Green Triangle which was reserved for the first years.
Cerys came up to me in the quad and welcomed me to the school, so I told him I'd been here 5 years, just done my last 'o' level and as soon as my mates came out I was going to go and never, ever, come back.

Made up of a series of different quarry faces, Holyhead's Mountain's quarry was created to supply materials for the construction of the Breakwater (qv). Now a nature reserve and occasional dogging hotspot.
I wonder if the people with those model boats in the quarry are the same people as those who go dogging there.

The area near St Cybi's church, old Fads, Jambos and the fish shop. This area is extremely old and photographs and artists impressions feature in many a local historical tome. This was the site of an ancient Celtic cross which has since been replaced by something or another to do with the millenium. Our town Christmas tree is sited at Quiet Corner, well hidden and protected by the Roman Fort Walls between St Cybi's and Fads.
Pop to Quiet Corner Doll Bach and get Nain some yellow fish for her dinner.
