Essentially an abreviation of the Welsh for "cup of tea" but has become part of the dialect of the Holyheadian so much so that even if they do move 'away' they still use it to mean 'tea', no matter who they're talking to, in the misguided belief that this is a universal term
"do you fancy a panad?"

A council ward generally covering from the park, through to Llaingoch and the mountain. During county council elections becomes a hotbed of political intrigue as residents pledge their allegiance to the previous long-standing incumbent, John Caeseri or his successor following an 'alleged' t.v. incident, Alan Chadwick.
Gwen Capel Tabor told me Caeseri was very good to them and she'll vote for him. So I cega'd with her and said me and the rest of Hifron were for Alan Chadwick.

A cave, innaccesible by land, to the south of North Stack. So called because the noise of seabirds squawking creates an echo that sounds much like the noise of parliamentarians in session.
It was well foggy in the boat the other night, we'd have crashed into North Stack if it wasn't for Parliament Cave. And the foghorn.
Definition added by God at 18:13, Thursday 24 November 2005
Only accessible by abseil, or lifeboats
There is a tunnel from Parliament Cave that runs right under North Stack and back to the sea on the breakwater side. Hard lifeboatmen do it without a torch - a bit dicey when the HSS has just passed!

Seldom used other than for displaying heirlooms, entertaining visiting Ministers of Religion, and for the laying out of the dead in the days when people died at home. It would sometimes contain a piano and an aspidistra or similar pot plant. Known in Seabourne Road and the Avenues as The Lounge.
